CSA – Chemical safety assessment

According to the KKDIK Regulation, “CSA – Chemical Safety Assessment” is an assessment process that must be carried out for all substances subject to registration in amounts of 10 tons or more per year.

In this process, the use of the chemical on its own, in a mixture or in an article is considered, and the risks are analysed and a chemical safety report is prepared. This report includes the risk reduction measures that must be taken to ensure the safety of the substance.
